The HKUEMS accepts all credit card payment on-line, inclusive of those from overseas banks. Credit card information will be securely transmitted to "Joint Electronic Teller Services Ltd. (JETCO) Payment Gateway" provided by the Bank of East Asia for transaction authorization. NO credit card information will be retained by the event organizer.

N.B. Registration will not be processed until full payment have been received. Please ensure that the correct amount of payment is made. Do not send cash.

ONLY for staff of Dept of Medicine, HKU (inclusive of honorary staff / teacher / researcher etc) and clinical doctors of Dept of Medicine, HK West Cluster HA: QMH, TWH, GH, FYK. Medical nurses, QMH, please contact your DOM or Ward Manager for registration.

1) If you have HKU Portal access, please make sure you are logged on at http://hkuportal.hku.hk/ BEFORE - you click into the HKUEMS. Otherwise you will be signed in as a "guest".

Members with a hkucc / hkusua email should have access to the Portal already - it's the first part of your email address (eg xxxx@hku.hk, where xxxx is your UID) and PIN is the same as your email password.

1) You will need to be logged into HKU Portal BEFORE you click on the link below as access is restricted to medical students. Therefore, if you were not logged-in as a "Medicine Student" then you would not be able to register/view it.

Please read the Rules and Regulations carefully:

Please use one form per participant and in English, ensuring that all the appropriate boxes have been checked. Illegible hand writing and/or insufficient information will delay your registration process.

  • Full Registration - participants will be entitled to activities on both days, i.e. Saturday and Sunday
  • Day Registration - there is no day registration
  • Overseas Registration – there is no separation registration for overseas participants nor accompanying persons

Registration is inclusive of : attendance of all scientific sessions in Room N201, 2/F, New Wing, HKCEC, admission to industry exhibition, coffee / tea breaks, name badge, program / abstract book and Forum briefcase.

  • Medical Registration (HKD600.00) : general and medical practitioners, family and specialist physicians, clinicians of other specialties; inclusive of Fellows of the colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine
  • Trainees (HKD300.00) : basic and higher trainee doctors of one of the colleges of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and interns / housemen
  • Non-Medical Registration (HKD300.00) : nurses, paramedical, and allied health professionals

Registration is subject to acceptance on a first-come-first-served basis and will not be processed until full payment has been received. Please ensure that the correct amount of payment is made otherwise it will delay your registration. Please do not send cash. Reservations can only be guaranteed upon clearance of all relevant payments.

The lunch symposium requires separate registration (if lunch provision is required) with an additional fee of HK$50.00 being charged per person. Due to the limited capacity of the venue, registration for the lunch symposium is on a first-come-first-served basis when payment is received.

Confirmation of Registration letter will be issued either by email or mail to the address supplied. Kindly check all the listed items in the letter of confirmation. Any corrections, changes or alterations should be made in writing by email to the Executive Officer. Please present this letter at the registration desk to obtain your Forum pack.

Official Receipt (by request) will be issued by mail to the address supplied within one month after the forum.

Cancellation Policy : All cancellations must be made in writing or by email to the Forum Secretariat one week prior to the deadline. An administrative charge of 20% may be deducted and refunds will be made within one month after the Forum. No refund will be made for cancellations after this date.
