In-patient
rehabilitation
Neurological diseases such as stroke, Parkisonism, neuro-muscular
disorders, pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation
are managed in TWH. Spinal cord lesions, cognitive impairment,
musculoskeletal diseases, amputation and connective tissue disease
are managed in MMRC
Day-rehabilitation
TWH has a day care centre which provides rehabilitation assessment
and training on an outpatient basis. MMRC has an ambulatory rehabilitation
centre to provide treatment on outpatient basis.
Multidisciplinary
pain clinic
This is in collaboration with anaesthetists and other health disciplines;
the clinic provides comprehensive services to patients with chronic
pain.
